Application process
Applications for UNISCA 2021 are closed!
We advise you to have your CV, your motivational letter and your transcript ready before starting the application, as these are asked to be uploaded at the end of the form.
The selection is ongoing. We assess applicants on a weekly basis and give a response within 3 weeks of application. Selected students are contacted by the Secretary and further steps are communicated regarding the position paper, the role of the participants, and the payment of the fee.
The second (and last) round of applications will close on June 13th, 23:59. (the first round opened on January 22nd and closed on April 30th).

Who can take part in UNISCA?
Regular students
To only pay the regular fee [1], you must meet all these criteria:

We also accept the following students, but they must pay the per-credit fee in addition to the regular fee:

[2] An exception to this rule can be made for PPLE students of the University of Amsterdam. If you do not have 60 ECTS but are set to have them before the end of the academic year, you can take part in UNISCA. You will need to ask your supervisor for a letter of support, in which they should express confidence that you will achieve your 60 ECTS this year and thus clear you to participate in UNISCA.
[3] Even if you are set to graduate this year, you will receive your 6 ECTS as long as you do not request your university diploma before the end of the course.

- You must be a Bachelor student
- This must be the first Bachelor that you complete
- You must be doing that Bachelor in a university in the Netherlands
- You must have already achieved 60 ECTS of your Bachelor [2]
This means that we accept:
- Students in their first, second, third or fourth year of Bachelor (at a university in the Netherlands) [3]
- Students completing a minor as part of their first Bachelor (at a university in the Netherlands)
Irregular students
We also accept the following students, but they must pay the per-credit fee in addition to the regular fee:
- Master students
- Bachelor students in universities outside of the Netherlands
- Students completing a Minor (but not as part of their Bachelor)

The motivation letter is your space to show us why you are inspired to participate. Feel free to shape it the way you want! You can tell us what affinity you have with the United Nations and the committee you would like to be in the most. You can list if you have any MUN experience, and do not refrain of telling us what drives you in life and where your passions and future goals lie in general.

- (Official) Transcript of grades | You can request one to your university (UvA students can request one here), a screenshot of your grades is not sufficient

Scholarship application
UNISCA 2022 will soon announce whether the scholarships will be available for the coming edition as well.
In 2021, UNISCA offered a limited number of 40€ scholarships. All students are eligible for a scholarship but please note that these scholarships are not excellence scholarships but financial aid.
